Today’s radio show was pretty awesome for a few reasons, one not being me. I was pretty stiff and frankly my work has me in a bit of a funk and the weather today made it worse. But let’s get back to today’s radio session.
The show was called New Stuff simply because keepin it real, I didn’t have an idea what the show was going to be like. All I know is that I wanted to get out there and talk about the new galleries and the new music tracks I’ve found and love. A semi success but thankfully I reached out to a couple of ladies who came through.
Clara Infante called in and talked about dressing up as a bunny tonight and heading over to Art Walk in Wynwood around 23rd to 24th streets and NW 1st Ave Miami where she and her crew will be passing out bands to get into Poplife tonight for free. I said go attack her, but she quickly said “….no…come give us kisses and hugs”, which is what I meant anyways.
She also mentioned her site TheMagicBaby.blogspot.com and contributor at Dimmak.com – the hipster record lable site and blog.
I adore that woman and hey, who cares if she’s naked all the time.
Got to play Dimitri Andreas – Run And Hide track. LOVE that song, hope to hear it on dance floor soon. And Bass Warriors – That Chicks A Basser.
At the end of the show, Miss Jackie Richie called in and that girl is all Miami. She’s the promoter and self proclaimed Queen of Space. Her party is tonight, like every Saturday night at Space and that starts at 11 pm and goes on till 2pm the next day.
She mentioned that the main room on the first floor has changed and has more dance floor for you dancers. You’d think that the whole after hours is so 2002, but it’s still doing well honey. Jackie mentioned to say her name “JACKIE RICHIE” to get in for free till 1 am at Space, so those of you who haven’t seen it, check out the place that states “who needs sleep”.
And that’s it. I hope to have another show on Wednsday April 15 in the early evening. Maybe some of you can call in and let us know how this weekend was.
Thanks again for those of you who listened and support this project.
