8th Annual 80s Prom Miami

yup. it’s that time again! And this is my FIFTH YEAR being part of the prom committee.

The 8th Annual 80s Prom is back and this year it returns to Vagabond on Wednesday November 24, 2010. It’s the Wednesday before Thanksgiving so you can cut loose until late in the night.

This year Sweat Records + The Vagabond present “Another Night To Remember”

Find my booth in the courtyard back in the corner – Booth opens around 11:15 pm.

Pink Snails In Miami

The invasion began a few nights ago. We took our evening walk when we spotted our first group of giant pink snails on 5th street on South Beach. Then pictures of other snails around the city started to pop up on FB, so we had to find out.

Shot this on my way home this morning.

From November 18, 2010 to January 2011, forty-five huge snails will make a new home in Miami Beach, courtesy of international artistic collective Cracking Art Group and Italy’s renowned Galleria Ca d’Oro. For more information read about it here in The Miami Herald…
