GREY GARDENS comes to life…

“A GREY GARDENS GARAGE SALE”

to benefit the Miami Beach Cinematheque

ADMISSION is $10, or $5 plus at least one valuable “garage sale treasure” to be sold at the event to benefit MBC! Meanwhile, you can browse among the cats and (for sale) photographic works by fashion photographer extraordinaire Andre Gabb, and purchase your own treasure…such as the photos, vintage clothes, antiques, books, dvds, and more!

And this will all be under the gaze of “Little Edie” and “Big Edie” (the two Edith Bouvier Beales), as the classic documentary of the Kennedy clan’s eccentric relative’s later life at their crumbling mansion GREY GARDENS unfolds (twice) onscreen throughout the event!

Guests and Polo players attend the official after party of the Nespresso Miami Boutique Opening last night

Lincoln Road was over taken by the Nespresso Boutique grand opening last night, April 21st 2010. Guests and Polo players  from the AMG Miami Beach Polo 2010 were treated to numerous food stands from various popular Miami restaurants as well as an open bar provided by Grey Goose. Some few selected guests were treated to free Nespresso coffee machines to take home. Now that is a gift bag!

International Pillow Fight Day in Miami Beach

Hundreds came out on Saturday April 3rd 2010 for a grand pillow fight held on 8 Street and Ocean Drive. Sharply at 3pm, everyone present too out their pillow and let loose for 10 full minutes.

PILLOW FIGHT FLASH MOB!!!

APRIL 3, 2010 @ 3:00pm – TODAY!!!!

In collaboration with International Pillow Fight Day, Miami Flash Mob will be holding a PILLOW FIGHT FLASH MOB!

LOCATION: 8th Street and Ocean Drive

TIME: 3:00pm

FLASH MOB RULES:

-Bring a pillow with you.
-BE SURE TO KEEP IT CONCEALED until it’s time to start
-ARRIVE ON TIME. Be there at exactly 3:00pm
-WAIT for the start signal
-When horn is blown START THE PILLOW FIGHT
-The pillow fight will last EXACTLY 10 MINUTES
-When the STOP horn is blown, DISPERSE AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED

SAFETY:

+ Soft pillows only!
+ Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once.
+ Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras.
+ Remove glasses beforehand!
+ Wait until the signal to begin.
+ Stay off the road, do not interrupt the flow of traffic!
