First time blogging from my cell. But I had to! Its been pretty interesting.wait. I have to run now over to poplife where snow cones are a dream come true.

not here. I usually want to go home after a long day of work, but Saturdays, my Saturdays are reserved them for Poplife. So after after a long day of runway chaos, a snow cone is welcomed, backed up with some dance floor freshness.

While I was backstage for the True Religion show, I took a peep down the back rows and took some shots. Here is one of the looks posed for the photographers pit at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2010 in Miami.

As soon as the show let up, I made my way to Red Carter, one of the hottest tickets during Swim Week. I made it to the pit, thankfully, and plopped down and did not move, not even if I wanted, I was in for the long haul.

Miami Fashion Week – Day 3

Tonight Red Carter!! (picture on the left is from the Red Carter Collection show in 2007) Love the show’s in the past and I am sure I am going to love the show tonight. I look forward to the styling which is always a strong point of his shows and the music selection. I mean folks, this is a show!

Also tonight, Shay Todd. This year she’s not under the tents but at the new W Hotel for a late night show. Should be pretty nice, lets just hope the heat index keeps under 90!

During the day, I am retreating to the rnr (rest and relax) areas for a hand massage and staying out of the heat, maybe Nikki Beach for a sec and then to see the TM Sisters splish-splashing it at The Standard for their show in the evening.

It was nice, but I realized I should have had a better place to shoot than where I picked, though I got to hang out with the ladies of Miami Magazine.

I just attended the Retro Garden Tea Party hosted by C’Madeleine’s at The Standard and as I finish these last few sentences, I am running out to the next event. but here is a quick tease on todays styling by Jessica Bosch.

Miami Swim Week

It’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami 2010 Collection. The shows at the tent start tomorrow, but tonight it’s the official opening – so I am headed out to meet and greet.

Satellite shows have popped up as well as parties and one that is not to be missed is the KRELwear events. Now, yeah, I may know her, but this show was spectacular. For those few who were there, I know you were boiling, but tell me it wasn’t worth sweating it out.

Here is the KRELwear Toga Party in the Standard Spa’s Hamam on Tuesday night, started around at 11:30 pm. Best show KRELwear has done in my opinion.

i had a DRI on Saturday night

DRI: Disco Related Injury. My first, I hope my last (I know my last) and I’m not sorry. It happens.

Last Saturday night I had wedding in the afternoon, then Poplife at night. At Poplife, their summer addition is the SnowCone machine and I must say it’s a hit. I had two. By the way, here’s the gallery.

Now for the DRI: I ended up at Vagabond because I am a fan of Lil’ Louis Vega and he was spinning that night. After hanging out at PS 14, and hanging with Robert from Dangerous and Beautiful, I ended up on the dance floor with my house head crew dancing.

Well, after a few great tracks by LLV, I slipped and fell on a drink and  and as soon as I got up,  I felt it. PS: the camera is fine.

Since then, I’ve been taking care of it. I also have the best guy – he’s been taking care of me.

Thursday July 9th at the new Trini Salon on Brickell. It was the opening with a lingerie show by La Di Da.

This was a very Miami moment.

On a bit of a break slash work slash really, a break, we headed out to Club 50 for some cocktails and a dip. I called my girl Jessie and we headed out to the 50th floor of Viceroy for an hour break.

Views are stunning, and the skies were blue and clear, though it was hot as hell.
