Last night at Coral Gables Biltmore Hotel Country Club Ballroom and Terrace was the kick off of Ocean Drive Fall Fashion Week with a runway show of Carlos Miele’s fall collection. Tonight the fashion continues and will go on until Saturday September 27th.

Here is one of my favorite dresses I loved from Carlos Miele’s collection. Worn by: Rebekah Keida
Good times from what I can see. Broward people were present at Poplife. Thanks Chris for letting me feel you up.
Mellie Mell & crew (love that girl!)
Saturday night was fun. We attended a birthday party at Upper Eastside Gardens and then over to my residency at Poplife for another Saturday night of picture taking of the usual suspects and the newbies dancing under the disco lights.
Pictures are coming up, video should be uploaded tonight. It’s Ocean Drive Fashion Week and I am on work over load.
Self portrait: after 4am on Saturday night.
So I was killed off – after weeks of on and off again of when I’d get slashed – I finally returned to the Black Sunday party to get killed this past Sunday the 14th. The last time I was there, it was only a couple of weeks of the birth of this party at Bella Rose and I shot a gallery for New Times. Click here to see that.
Host and serial disco killer, Lex threw the axe and did me in. I still have a mark on my forehead.
I love this track! Metallica – Master of Puppets.
About 48 hours ago, I was over by Mott & Prince in NY for a job. While I waited, I was snapping away at the moments around me.
While shooting a couple of girls walking towards me, I looked over and noticed DJ AM walking by me with a friend commenting about the girls. This was the shot I got after they passed me. Today I woke up hearing about the plane crash.
DJ AM (right)
If you’re in NYC and you haven’t been to the great San Gennaro Fest, then honey you are missing out. I use to go back in the day, so when I found myself right smack in the center of it all on my way to a job today, it really made my day. Yeah, it’s the same festival food, over priced and questionable, including fried Oreo’s and dipped chocolate strawberries. I’d say go for the spicy sausage, get a beer over at one of the many bars open on Mulberry Street and talk to one of the many locals there – kinda rare these days if you ask me.
The festival is going on now through Sunday the 21st. Nice weather, games, rides and music. Don’t forget to swing by and check out the racist clown at the north end of the fest – some classic family fun.
As I woke up this morning I recieved some sad news. Queztel of Marvin & Queztel has passed away. I dont’ have the details yet. If you never heard of these guys, I’d call them the Heatherette of Mexico – at least their lifestyle and personal fashions. I almost connected with the boys last year when they were suppose to be here in Miami to show off their collection, but never made it due to some visa mix up.
mi sentido pesema.
This past Saturday, September 13th, season opened for the art circuit and Miami. Gallery of Art Walk here.

Earthdance Miami 2008 came together with the help of Christopher Witecki right here talking about the stars. Here is the rest: click here for more.
As my brother-in law and the rest of the family out in Houston get rest and call us later to see how they are doing without power, I am getting ready to head out to work.
Yesterday I didn’t get enough rest as I had a shoot at sunrise. I was on the beach since 6:30 am – gorgeous weather at that time – and stayed there till almost 8 am. I somehow managed to come home and sleep for another 3 hours which was fine, but I hate when my day is cut in half that way. When I thought it was 3 pm, it was actually 5 pm. Anexiety had it’s way with me.
Tonight my residency at Poplife should be interesting. It’s PopArt Saturday and tonight besides the usual artistics that walk in, Poplife host another themed party called “Like a Virgo” party which is a nice mix of Virgos celebrating their birthdays (ehemm Miss B) with a mix of Madonna circa 1984 – though she’s a Leo, she is always worth celebrating.
There is also EarthDance Miami – and I will be there for sure at 7 pm for the chanting and oming or moment of meditation. I’ll do Art Walk and the opening of a recording studio and if I have a chance sneak back to the beach for a birthday party. That’s all I could do without buring out. Tomorrow I have a shoot to finish with a couple of events in between.
