Monthly Archives: August 2008

Just woke up a couple of hours ago and I’m still in bed. I’ve been conducting work via text, but I just set my cell down, so if you need me, find me online. I’m in the office, though I’m still in bed. I had to miss out on Chocolate Sundays – one of the better hip hop parties on the beach, I really wanted to hang with Paula, but I will find her later on.

As for today Monday, I usually take off  from the club scene. I am going to be out on the town working on several projects I have, one being Earthdance. I was called by T and I am now part of the crew, working on some visual art for that day. More on Earthdance coming soon. Here is the teaser flyer.

Here comes the rain again…

Oye… and it’s hot. 89 Feels like 98.

Last night I started at MAM, then ran to Townhouse on the beach where I was greeted with:

Tonight?

One of the best monthly happy hours in Miami has got to be Jam at MAM. Yo, $10 gets you cocktails – and these are real cocktails from brand vodka to gin or wine, bites – if you are there early enough – or if you know where to stand (people start to act like vultures), music by some fresh DJ or a live band – almost always the music is GREAT, and naturally – art.

This month, Art of Shade fashion show, lots of rain but the show went on, the drinks kept pouring.
