it’s time to play rough

Usually I never surf other sites, especially party photographer sites but today I did. I am feeling…..upset and possibly vicious. And you thought I was nice.

Just got my new lens – thanks UPS – just in time for my shots with Keegan (who just rang me….) and we are going to make pretty pictures. As my nightlife slows down, my evening life is hustling and I have projects galore.

Rye Rye will be at Just Add Water at Fontainbleau this Sunday July 5th, 2009. This girl is ghetto delish… can’t wait to shoot her. And underwater shots are back.

since i met her, I wanted to shoot her and we finally did after, what, five years?

Though these shots are ok, a bit dark, flash straight on, no set up, just dark – inspired by her music (I want to say A Perfect Circle), I just wanted to catch my mood. But we are already setting up for another shoot, a proper shoot when she returns from her vacation.

Sabados en Miami

yesterday, I was in no mood to go out but it was Friday, my new chillax day to edit or shoot some side project but when I recieved an email from Max about his tribute to Michael Jackson at his space over at AE District, I got up and went. Hung with my crew, took some snaps, I got snappy at some girl, heard too much of MJ, a bit repetitive – had a couple of cocktails, got a red kiss on my neck, took it off (note to self: stop it before it starts), took off to PS 14 to jam to Gabby’s mix, never heard her set, sat with Andi, talked about future projects (I hope I start to get them going), called it a night by 2 am (too long of a night).

That was it.

Tonight Saturday, a couple of private events, a party or two and maybe some good pictures. it’s all work. I want to run into some glamour, people who let me capture them, interesting fashions, and some new inspirations.
